If selected, Gabbard will be the first woman as well as the youngest pick for Trump’s Cabinet...”
Trump’s “alt-right” advisor Steve Bannon is a fan of Gabbard’s: ” ...Stephen Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist, reportedly likes Gabbard because of her stance on guns, refugees and Islamic extremism along with her ability to invoke strong anti-establishment populist sentiment on the left...”
Bannon is also a fan of Narendra Modi and has followed his political rise closely: ” ... Mr. Trump may be largely indifferent to the reasons behind his Hindu loyalists’ fervor, but his most senior advisers are not. The campaign’s chief executive, Stephen K. Bannon, is a student of nationalist movements. Mr. Bannon is close to Nigel Farage, a central figure in Britain’s movement to leave the European Union, and he is an admirer of India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi, a Hindu nationalist Mr. Bannon has called ‘the Reagan of India.’ It may be pure coincidence that some of Mr. Trump’s words channel the nationalistic and, some argue, anti-Muslim sentiments that Mr. Modi stoked as he rose to power. But it is certainly not coincidental that many of Mr. Trump’s biggest Hindu supporters are also some of Mr. Modi’s most ardent backers...”
Gabbard is also a big fan of Narendra Modi, having been involved with the planning of Modi’s U.S. visit and networking with BJP members: ”...Gabbard, a strong supporter of Modi, is a Democrat Congresswoman from Hawaii. ... She had spoken to Modi after his victory in the Indian general elections and congratulated him and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On a trip to India, Gabbard networked with both the BJP and the RSS, the Hindu nationalist/fascist party for which Modi’s BJP is a cat’s paw. (All of Modi’s cabinet appointments were drawn from the RSS. Modeled on the German Nazi Party and Mussolini’s blackshirts, the RSS killed Gandhi.): “...Speaking at a fundraising event for the BJP in August 2014 ... Marketed as “the first Hindu in Congress,” Gabbard, her family, her in-laws and political milieu are deeply connected to an offshoot of the Hare Krishna sect in Hawaii led by Chris Butler aka Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa:
Gabbard’s Washington-based chief of staff, Kainoa Penaroza, is the son of Bill Penaroza, linked to a political front for Butler’s organization. ”...Kainoa Penaroza, who was appointed as Gabbard’s Washington, D.C.-based chief of staff last month despite his relative lack of political experience, is the son of Bill Penaroza, who was among a slate of 14 candidates running for a variety of offices in 1976 under an enigmatic political party called the Independents for Godly Government. The party’s connection to Butler was revealed in a three-part investigative series by the Honolulu Advertiser’s Water Wright in 1977....”
Penaroza’s wife works as Gabbard’s Washington fundraiser.
Excerpt: The Huffington Post article discounts any public pronouncements by Gabbard about Butler being her guru. These are contradicted in the third embedded video contained in the linked post. At around 3:45, she credits Chris Butler, aka Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa with being her guru. [Note: Civil Beat is actually a publication founded by Pierre Omidyar. It is carried by The Huffington Post but is not actually part of their operation. This noteworthy because Civil Beat claims it could not find any public record of Gabbard asserting that Chris Butler, aka Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa was her guru. Actually, such information is not hard to find. The audio track for the above embedded video of Gabbard contains just such a statement!]

Also helped to finance the Maidan covert operation in Ukraine.
NED is a U.S. government-funded organization created in 1983 to do what the Central Intelligence Agency previously had done in financing organizations inside target countries to advance U.S. policy interests and, if needed, help in “regime change.”
“Ukraine’s choice to join Europe will accelerate the demise of the ideology of Russian imperialism that Putin represents,” Gershman wrote. “Russians, too, face a choice, and Putin may find himself on the losing end not just in the near abroad but within Russia itself.” In other words, NED is a U.S. government-financed entity that has set its sights on ousting Russia’s current government.
Although it has not been widely reported in this country, there's evidence that the Maidan “uprising” was, in fact, a coup. Assistant Secretary of State for Europe, Victoria Nuland, a Bush State Department hold-over (Victoria Nuland served as assistant secretary of state for Europe during the Obama administration), boasted of having $5 billion invested in Ukraine and was overheard plotting to get her guy, “Yats” [Arseniy Yatsenyuk] in power. Stratfor characterized the Maidan uprising as an obvious coup.
Any reference to a “coup” was dismissed as “Russian propaganda.” There was a parallel determination in the U.S. media to discredit or ignore evidence that neo-Nazi militias had played an important role in ousting Yanukovych and in the subsequent suppression of anti-coup resistance in eastern and southern Ukraine. That opposition among ethnic-Russian Ukrainians simply became “Russian aggression.”
The technique first emerged on May 2 in the port city of Odessa when pro-regime militants chased dissidents into the Trade Unions Building and then set it on fire. As some 40 or more ethnic Russians were burned alive or died of smoke inhalation, the crowd outside mocked them as red-and-black Colorado potato beetles, with the chant of “Burn, Colorado, burn.” Afterwards, reporters spotted graffiti on the building’s walls containing Swastika-like symbols and honoring the “Galician SS,” the Ukrainian adjunct to the German SS in World War II.
Biden & McCain — In the weeks before the coup, according to an intercepted phone call, Nuland discussed with U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt who should lead the future regime. Nuland said her choice was Arseniy Yatsenyuk. “Yats is the guy,” she told Pyatt as he pondered how to “midwife this thing.” Sen. John McCain, Arizona, also showed up, standing on stage with right-wing extremists from the Svoboda Party and telling the crowd that the United States was with them in their challenge to the Ukrainian government. — As the winter progressed, the protests grew more violent. Neo-Nazi and other extremist elements from Lviv and western Ukrainian cities began arriving in well-organized brigades or “sotins” of 100 trained street fighters. Police were attacked with firebombs and other weapons as the violent protesters began seizing government buildings and unfurling Nazi banners and even a Confederate flag. Though Yanukovych continued to order his police to show restraint, he was still depicted in the major U.S. news media as a brutal thug who was callously murdering his own people. The chaos reached a climax on Feb. 20 when mysterious snipers opened fire on police and some protesters, killing scores. As police retreated, the militants advanced brandishing firearms and other weapons. (One of the few media people to break from the “group think” to which the American public has been subjected, Parry has presented information at fundamental variance with the “official story.”)
Not surprisingly, Russia has obliged foreign NGO’s to register as “foreign agents,” recognizing their role as agents of covert operation, having been central to the Maidan coup of 2014. The National Endowment for Democracy was set up under the tutelage of William Casey as an adjunct to the CIA. The program highlights that coup d’etat and the shepherd’s role in the operations of Victoria Nuland.
After reviewing the careers of Stephan Bandera and Yaroslav Stetsko and the collaboration between the OUN/B and the Third Reich, the program details the role of Urkainain Nazi formations in the Maidan coup, the provisional and subsequent Ukrainian governments and the fighting units involved in that country’s civil war. Not surprisingly, the Nazi fighting formations have recapitulated their political heritage, burning ethnic Russians alive in buildings in Ukraine. They also appear to have been carrying-out political assassinations of critics and opponents of the government.
Key parts of the program focus on “The Big Lie”: [At that time,] there had been no “Russian invasion” of Ukraine according to key U.S. intelligence analysts. Reconnaissance satellites show that the BUK missile battery that appears to have fired the missile that brought down MH-17 was manned by apparently drunk Ukrainian soldiers. Crimea was not “annexed” or “invaded” by Russia. Turning to the subject of the “governance” to which the people of Ukraine have been subjected, we note that foreigners have been placed in key positions of power within Ukraine. A particularly alarming development concerns the use of ISIS-linked Chechen Islamists (apparently decamped from Syria) to bolster the “volunteer battalions” in Ukraine. They are fighting under the administrative command of Pravy Sektor. (We have noted in the past how Crimean Tatars have also been working in Ukraine alongside Pravy Sektor.) The broadcast underscores the Orwellian coverage of the event by U.S. and Western mainstream media.
Key U.S. State Department EuroMaidan Coup Player had Insider Information on DNC “Hack” before Senior Democratic Officials
Ukrainian Maidan Coup organizer Victoria Nuland knew about supposed Russian “hacks” of the DNC months before senior Democratic Party officials were so informed. In FTR #943 – The Gehlen Gang, the High-Profile Hacks and the New Cold War, we noted the Ukrainian fascist links to the supposed confirmation of the “Russian” authorship of the “hacks.” We further developed the Urkainian fascist link to the supposed confirmation of the “Russian” hacks in FTR #981 – The Ukrainian Fascist Foundation of the “Russia-Gate” Psy-Op. Given Nuland’s strong links to the OUN/B successor organizations in power in Ukraine, it is reasonable to ask if she may have involved them in the U.S. “response” to the Russian “hacks.”

There was a period, from around May of 2015 to March of 2016, where Victoria Nuland ...again, a key EuroMaiden instigator ... knew about these hacks, but the DNC effectively didn’t. In addition, other State Department officials, as well as Victoria Nuland, were informed about the DNC hacks in December of 2015, and tasked with developing a U.S. response.

Abstract: As indicated by the title, this broadcast updates and fleshes out a long path of inquiry into the development of fascism in Ukraine, implemented by the OUN/B successor organizations that were empowered by the Maidan Coup of 2014. In past commentary, we have noted the profound Ukrainian and Gehlen-derived links to the supposed “Russian” hacks leading up to, and during, the 2016 U.S. election campaign.

Either way, if this report is accurate he’s not just passing along a few suggestions to Peter Thiel. He helped create a database of potential appointees:

Sources familiar with the situation described the list as an intake system for the team, and said it was separate from the version that Thiel and his closest associates use to track final selections that are forwarded to Trump. . . .”
While Charles C. Johnson may not technically be the Helene von Damm of the Trump administration (the Director of Presidential Personnel is John DeStefano), he may well be playing a similar role.
COMMENT: Dave Emory notes that some of NATO’s most recently-joined members are not hospitable to African-American soldiers. The Baltic states, Estonia in particular, have proved to be inhospitable to black Americans stationed there by NATO. With the Baltic states celebrating their participants in the Waffen SS, this should not come as too much of a surprise.
In 2014, in his speech in Tallinn, U.S. President Obama bravely stated that “the defense of Tallinn and Riga and Vilnius is just as important as the defense of Berlin and Paris and London…You lost your independence once before,” added the first American black president. “With NATO, you will never lose it again.”
In 2005 in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, two black American NATO soldiers were attacked in front of a local casino, resulting in severe injuries to both of the soldiers—their faces smashed and their teeth knocked out. American authorities expressed the hope that it was not a “racist attack,” and Lithuania assigned police patrols to any sites frequented by NATO soldiers. . . . .
In 2015, during the Independence Day parade, while African-American troops wearing NATO uniforms marched on the main street of Estonia’s capital, local racists shouted all kinds of racial slurs, including, “Go back to your grandparents in Nigeria!”
Since then, there has been evidence of racism against American NATO troops in restaurants, hotels and on the streets of Estonia, where “Go back to Nigeria!” has become a widely used attack toward dark-skinned American soldiers.
